Semplicità ed efficacia sono caratteristiche che, a colpo d’occhio, emergono dal layout del sito. Scavando più a fondo – considerando la primaria e molto spesso tralasciata intenzione di dare il massimo delle informazioni con il minimo sforzo da parte dell’utente – si cerca di andare oltre; l’ipertestualità diventa scoperta organizzata lontana dalla costellata diramazione in finestre e link alleggerendo così il peso visivo della fruizione. Non più strutture, niente prima o dopo, nessuna gerarchia, soltanto libero flusso informativo che nella sua esplorazione lascia macchie di colore irreversibili come uniche tracce della navigazione.
